Hello

My name is Katharine Gails and I am a Minnesota-based Illustrator who specializes in collage and digital art. After graduating from Ripon College I taught kindergarten for 5 years and fell in love with picture books. I have been working on illustrating and writing picture books with Storyteller Academy for the last three years. My passion is to create detailed collage pieces with lots of depth and texture that invite children into new worlds and spark imagination. When I am not working, I am running around with my husband, kiddo and puppy and finding inspirations for my illustrations.
